EMS entrance matting systems comprise of an interlocking 100% recycled solid aluminium grid system
with unique debris channels for maximum scrapping and dirt removal. The aluminium is available in standard silver mill finish or a choice of beautiful anodised metallic colours in three shades of gold and bronze or contemporary mat black and gunmetal grey finishes. Aluminium angle frames designed for recessed entrance matting or ramp edged frames for surface mounted entrance matting can be anodised in matching colours to add a more professional finish to your entrance matting. Anodised aluminium not only adds further choice to the colour and design possibilities but also hardens the metal making the entrance matting systems extra durable. Every EMS entrance matting system is manufactured with a choice of infill material to suit the external and/or internal application, with over 60 colours and 5 ranges.
Colour has always been at the forefront of EMS, the first product range – EMS Colortread is still in production and popular with many of our customers. EMS Colortread entrance matting consists of the same solid interlocking 100% recycled aluminium grid system base combined with a selection of infill materials in a variety of colours as well as a choice of colourful scraper bars. The scraper bars are also a great way of adding an additional safety element to the entrance as bright colours help visually impaired see the matting and changes to the flooring under foot.
One of the most popular and sustainable EMS entrance matting ranges is the EMS Tretford Design Range. EMS Tretford Design Range is specified and trusted by many of our regular and new customers including well-known retail and hospitality brands. The entrance matting system is comprised of the same interlocking 100% recycled aluminium grid system as the EMS Evergreen Debris Channel but with the Tretford infill material. Tretford is primarily made from natural goat hair, ethically sourced and produced using the fibres that are
n’t suitable for clothing. This material is hard wearing, absorbent, naturally dirt repellent and adds a luxurious texture to the entrance matting. There are 60 beautiful colours including several undyed natural colours to choose from. With this colour palette it is possible to select a colour to match the interior design or create a colourful logo as well as meeting high sustainability and performance requirements.
Our latest entrance matting system has been designed with Rawsons Carpets, EMS Recover entrance matting system which has recycled and recyclable infills. There are more colours within this range coming soon, including blues and greens.
