The Colortread range is constructed using a rigid aluminium base which is stronger than wired products, and has the added advantage of making it easy for you to update your colour scheme whenever you like, simply by changing the coloured scraper bars and inserts
 

No other product offers such a comprehensive range of colours in an entrance mat. And you can mix and match any combination of inserts and scraper bars to create your own scheme, no matter how wacky or conservative.  We can even produce customised logo entrance mats to match your corporate identity.

DDA Compliant
EMS systems are fully compliant to the Disability Discrimination Act 2004 and meet BS7953 which states entrance matting should:

  • Reduce slipping incidents by reducing the amount of soil and moisture tracked onto hard and resilient floors
  • Prolong the life of interior floor finishes by reducing the ingress of abrasive soil.
  • Reducing the cleaning requirements of internal floors.

It is recommended that a minimum traffic direction length of 2 - 2.2m is required for entrance matting, in accordance with BS7953.

EMS Evergreen Programme
The EMS Evergreen Programme was developed to ensure that environmentally friendly and natural products are used wherever possible.


All elements of the EMS range of entrance matting are recyclable, from the aluminium extrusion to the non-glare scraper bars.

EMS encourages the application of CT004 wherever possible due to its natural coir inserts and CT008 which is manufactured from recycled crumb rubber components.
