Entrance Matting Systems Ltd offer the largest selection of recycled, recyclable and sustainable entrance matting products on the market.

EMS take the environmental duty as manufacturers and suppliers of commercial entrance matting extremely seriously. EMS aims to not only be at the forefront of product design, including the sustainability of the entrance matting systems but to offer the highest quality and performance lead and proven products at competitive prices.

Entrance Matting Systems reuse, recycle and minimise waste in every day practice both in the office and manufacturing unit. EMS manufacture every product in the UK and source, wherever possible, all of the materials from the UK.

EMS believe supporting other UK businesses is essential to the economy and the environment. Not only in minimising emissions but also encouraging other businesses to do the same.

Entrance Matting Systems are proud to have the only aluminium matting products on the market with Greenspec Accreditation. In order to qualify products must have a minimum of 80% total recycled content across the whole range. http://www.greenspec.co.uk/green-products/entrance-mats/details/evergreen-debris-channel-matting/

Aluminium – The Green metal

The global Aluminium Industry has an excellent record on the rehabilitation of land after bauxite mining. A recent survey showed that 89% of post-mining land in Northern Australia was restored to native forest and the remainder to commercial forest, agriculture and pasture.

  • Aluminium recycling reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 95%, compared to Primary aluminium production.
  • It only takes 5% of the energy required to produce Primary Aluminium to recycle it.
  • Aluminium is an ‘energy bank’ – most of the original input can be recovered every time the aluminium product is recycled.
  • Aluminium can be recycled to infinity without any loss of quality or properties.
  • Over 70% of the Aluminium ever produced worldwide is still in use today – 450 million tonnes.
  • Recycling of Aluminium scrap in UK and Europe saves about 90 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually, equivalent to the annual emissions from 15 million cars.

Entrance Matting Systems Ltd continuously develop and improve the ranges of entrance matting systems offered. Proudly offering the largest selection of infill choices to meet sustainability and ethical demands.
