LU section 12: Natural and halogen-free rubber. Made from a rapidly renewable raw material. Hevea Brasiliensis rubber trees live for 30 years and continuously produce latex during the whole of their life cycle. Ethically sourced from well managed rubber plantations, adding to the country’s economy and benefits the local communities.
DC004: 100% natural coconut fibres. Made from the middle layer of the coconut shell. Taken from the fruit of the tree and therefore not affecting the tree itself. Coir infill material undergoes very little processes; wet-milling, drying, twisting and pressing. No chemicals used or energy consuming processes.
DC008 (black) rubber: 100% recycled natural rubber, made from recycled tyres. It is extremely hard wearing, also minimising replacement costs.
