Our Clients

Arcadia

The Uk’s largest privately owned clothing retailer with more than 2,500 outlets. EMS has been the sole supplier of entrance matting to the group since 2003 and is proud to produce for such brands as Topshop, Burton, Miss Selfridge and BHS. A full manufacture and installation service is provided for Arcadia with projects regulary turned round within 2-3 days.

Marks & Spencer

EMS are now the proud suppliers of entrance matting to all M&S stores, including a roll out of 20-30 new stores in the next 18 months, all refurbishments and all Simply Food stores. EMS worked closely with M&S specifiers and designers to ensure the perfect entrance solution was achieved based on sustainability, aesthetics and longevity. The specification is the new Evergreen Debris Channel matting which is proving extremely popular due its minimum 80% recycled content and innovative debris collection channels.

Selfridges

EMS have long provided matting solutions to the historic and beautiful building in Oxford street. Originally designed by Daniel Burnham the store has grown into one of the most iconic sites in our capital. Our EMS Colortread matting system was an ideal choice to reflect the colourful and vibrant interior of Selfridges.

Great Ormond Street Hospital

This great institution has long been the forerunner in pioneering work in children’s medicine. In 1929 JM Barrie was so impressed with the hospitals work that he passed over the rights of Peter Pan to the hospital to help fund their endeavours. Over the years EMS have supplied and installed matting for numerous hospitals throughout the UK. Both the Colourtread and Debris Channel range are ideal for heavy footfall and wheeled traffic. For this project we utilised our CT008 infill material which is produced from 100% recycled tyre rubber.

London Underground

EMS have designed a new matting system for the London Underground. The New LU Debris Channel incorporates low smoke and toxic fume emission rubber infills in line with Section 12. Due to the innovative channel sections, debris is collected below the surface of the mat and the open channel provides an excellent drainage facility. This results in less dirt and moisture on the top of the mat that can be tracked into the building by foot traffic. The aluminium system is not only efficient but is constructed from over 90% recycled material, making it a market leader in sustainability. This product is already in situ and is the specified entrance matting for all stations on the London Underground Network.

Citibank

The consumer banking arm of financial services giant Citigroup, Citibank has retail banking operations in over 100 countries. EMS have supplied matting for the group to banks in America, Spain, Switzerland, Dubai to name but a few. Shipping is organised and monitored in house to ensure goods are delivered on time to any address around the globe.
