Indoor and outdoor sports facilities will require entrance matting with different properties to withstand environmental conditions as well as having the right solution for the type of traffic it will encounter.

Foot borne traffic – Not just the amount of footfall but also the use of specialist footwear is common in many sports, i.e. studs and spikes.
Wheels – wheelchairs, equipment, bikes, trolleys etc.
Other – animals, crutches, blades, skies, skates etc.
We offer a big variety of infills in lots of colours within all of EMS entrance matting system ranges as well as other possibilities to add in-laid logos and anodised aluminium in 4 luxurious colours. All EMS infills are all easily replaced with the same or different infills and/or scraper bars at a fraction of the cost of replacing a completely new matting system; making this a great solution if you are wanting to update your colour scheme or change your logo and branding now or in the future.

Evergreen debris channel entrance matting is our best selling range of entrance matting across all sectors due to its durability, contemporary design, it is easy to maintain and has many sustainability benefits. Colortread offers the same infill options with the addition of colourful scraper bars, adding more possibilities to your overall design.
There are lots of different infills to choose from however, for sport applications EMS would recommend looking at the following (I have provided a brief summary of each infill however further information is available on the website page for each, link is embedded in the heading of each infill):
001 – Polypropylene infill with dense pile, excellent dirt and moisture removal.
002 – Polypropylene infill with loop pile, non-shedding and hard wearing.
003md – Polypropylene infill with unique multi-directional, diamond design provides extra grip for traffic in any direction. Also an excellent choice for logos and it is available in lots of vibrant colours (2nd only to our Tretfird Design Range for colour options).
022 – Polypropylene infill with deep ribbed pile (shown in inset image). Very popular choice of infill across all sectors.
005 – Rubber infill with flat surface. Consisting of flecked, recycled tyre rubber which is extremely hard wearing and therefore ideal for heavy traffic areas. Suitable for internal and external applications.
008 – Rubber infill with finely ribbed surface for extra slip-resistance, extremely hard wearing material which is suitable for heavy traffic areas. Suitable for internal and external applications.
